Since 2005, ReUse Works has been operating Appliance Depot, a self-sustaining job training business that salvages, refurbishes, and sells used appliances.  This innovative business model partners with social service agencies to provide job training for low income residents who help run the business.  Appliance sales support the training program without any additional subsidy from government or private sources.

10,500 Appliances saved for reuse by low income households
3,000 Tons of scrap metal recycled
